Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, will insist that the reports on the results of work of agriculture be presented at the Parliament to draw attention to the problems in the sector.
Thus, he reminded of the Bill on the support of the agricultural sector brought forward at the previous session. However, the People´s Deputies did not endorse the Bill.
V.Lytvyn believes that adoption of the Bill would have rendered substantial assistance to the agricultural sector on the part of the State, as it would have secured adequate funding of agricultural producers, fair sale of the grain.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stated that the Parliament should take measures to settle the top-priority problems of the agricultural sector.
