Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine suggests conversion of the Dialogue between Ukraine and Russia from the Plane of Recrimination into the Constructive Race and is convinced that the Parliaments of both countries and people´s democracy" would cope with the task.
"I suppose that one should immediately hold the meeting on the levels of the both parliaments and interparliamentary committee "Ukraine-Russia", - V. Lytvyn declared on Tuesday in interview to the informational agency "Interfax-Ukraine", giving comments of the address of the President of Russia, Dmytro Medvedev to the President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko.
V. Lytvyn is convinced that today, more then ever the "people´s diplomacy" should be active. "I deem Ukrainian parliament should occupy in such situation constructive and objective position", - hr emphasized.
"The dialogue should be strengthened on all the positions, the intellectual, scientific, clerical elite should be involved into the situation in order to have, I would say, talk on the level of conversation of two people: what should be done in order the ere is no hostility concerning the relations between Ukraine and Russia", - he announced.
V. Lytvyn also expressed thought that the address of D. Medvedev ""would be used for the mobilization of electorate by the different candidates for the post of the president and its final result may lead to the break of the country".
V. Lytvyn declared that "appellation of the President of Russian Federation to the President of Ukraine needs to immediate, emotional and politically colored evaluation but serious analysis concerning the fact how we are going to live and build Ukrainian-Russian relations""
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasized that Ukrainian-Russian relations are not only relations of the countries but are strongly connected by the history, modern life and the future: "they touch upon interests of the word society, at least European one for certain".
"On should admit: Ukraine in the face of politicians overstrained itself, taking mission of Russia restrain", - V. Lytvyn declared.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also informed about the fact that it is not inadmissible that the "flywheel of opposition" should be untwisted.
According to V. Lytvyn, course of Ukraine for the possession of power according to help only from the West, the course for the membership in NATO, formalization of the relations with Russia, abstraction from the post-soviet space have collapsed. Still he prognoses that such course "in more strict form would be demonstrated during the president´s elections campaign".
V. Lytvyn also deem the fact demonstrative that "when our politicians receive power they enter EU and NTO and when lose it remembers about Russia"
"There were no serious talk in Ukraine about foreign policy priorities of the state and understanding of the fact that hoe it is influenced by the life style of the people, their memory, economics and culture, attitude of the whole world towards us. "As a result we have in our society nervousness, irritability, quarrels, breaks, oppositions and lack of stability", - the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada declared."
