INDEPENDENCE.

31 years ago, on December 1, 1991, Ukrainians came to the referendum, where they had to answer only one question: “Do you confirm the Act of Independence of Ukraine?”

Then 90.32% of citizens said: “YES”

They said “yes” to independent Ukraine.

They said “yes” to their own, independent, indivisible, sovereign state.

They said “yes” in all our cities – Lviv, Donetsk, Chernihiv and Sevastopil.

And we are fighting for this “yes” expressed 31 years ago today.

For our Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Mariupol... For the whole Ukraine. For our land and our freedom.

For the blue and yellow colours to fly on all borders and nobody can dare to redraw them.

For children to learn from Ukrainian books and know the truth about the history of Ukraine.

For us to choose our own way.

And we have chosen it: to go to Victory! And we will definitely win!

Congratulations, free people of the mighty and invincible state of Ukraine!
