Ruslan Stefanchuk: The main goal of the Summit is maximum involvement of world parliaments in the issue of non-recognition of the annexation of the Crimean Peninsula

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, commented on the main task of the First Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimean Platform, which will be holding on at the end of October in Croatia.

Mr. Stefanchuk also informed that preparations for the First Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform, which will take place at the end of October in Croatia, are underway.

«It is important that as many speakers as possible take a direct part in the Summit. And at the level of speakers, we have to discuss the issue of Crimea and the territorial integrity of Ukraine, international law, and international order.» The Chairmen of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed.

 He added that our goal is the maximum involvement of world parliaments in the issue of non-recognition of the annexation of the Crimean peninsula, the introduction of sanctions against russia, and the protection of the rights and freedoms of people in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
