Mykola Tomenko, the vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is convinced that during the visit of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill the implementation of the subordination scenario concerning Ukrainian Orthodox Church to Moscow Patriarchat commenced.
He announced it today, giving comments regarding the results of the visit of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill to Ukraine and his announcement concerning the readiness to receive Ukrainian citizenship.
"During the visit the conception of new ideological doctrine of Russia was approved that has determined the total subordination of Orthodox Church to Russian Orthodox Church as an ideal variant", - M. Tomenko declared.
He stressed that today specialists announce that entourage of Patriarch Kirill express dissatisfaction not only concerning the existence of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate but concerning the existence of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate as well. "Consequently from the first day of visit the idea of necessity of unity in Kyiv Rus inheritance was propagandized and in the end of the visit the readiness, despite the Constitution of Ukraine, to receive the double citizenship as well", - the Vice-Chairman informed.
According to M. Tomenko, the claim of Patriarch Kirill is not a coincidence and it might be taken into the consideration as scenario approving according to which, Patriarchate of Moscow and All Russia might become Patriarchate of Kyiv and All Ukraine. "Still such scenario would be supported neither by the Ukrainian society nor by the Ukrainian state and by congregation of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate", - Vice-Chairman added.
