The Committee on Fighting Crime and Corruption has adopted the Working Plan for the September 2009 - January 2010

For the indicated period 31 issues are planned to be scrutinized.

In particular the Committee is going to introduce for the scrutiny of the Parliament and recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (Reg.№2222).

The Committee would recommend that the Verkhovna Rada adopts in the second reading the Bill on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine concerning the improvement of the organizational-legal basis of detection, prevention and cessation of the activity of the organized corruption and crime (Reg. №3170).

Committee is going to introduce for the scrutiny of the Parliament and recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine (re the fighting finance terrorism) (Reg.№4309).

It is planned that the Bill on conflict of interests in the activity of public officials should be scrutinized during the Meeting of the Committee (Reg. №4420)

It is planned that the Bill on the rules of the professional ethics on the public service and prevention of the conflict of interests scrutinized during the Meeting of the Committee (Reg. №4420-1).

It is planned that the Bill on measures of the state finance control for the public service (Reg. №4472) should be scrutinized.

The plan also envisages the scrutiny of the Bill on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine (re the interaction of the customs bodies with special subdivisions on fighting organized crime) (Reg. №4728).

The Committee should scrutinize and submit its propositions concerning the number of Bills where it is not determined as a profile.

The Committee plans scrutiny of the issues on the results of the work of the special subdivisions on fighting on organized crime and corruption in the first half of the year 2009.
