The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine would not work basing on Ultimatums Volodymyr Lytvyn
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine would not work basing on Ultimatums. It was stressed by Volodymyr Lytvyn on briefing on Tuesday. "Verkhovna Rada would work as it should be working or it would not work at all", - he declared adding that "he is not going to open sitting "looking for special moment", for the adoption of certain resolution, as it was with issue on amendments to the budget during the allotment of funds for the financing of "Euro-2012" objects or concerning the amendments to the law on the President´s elections".
Giving answers to the journalists´ questions V. Lytvyn declared that he is not going to close in usual time the current session as "people´s deputies are already gathering signatures for the pre-termed session or sitting".
V. Lytvyn once again expressed for the shortening of the president´s election campaign from 120 to 90 days. The chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine announced that he would register the relevant bill in the Parliament in order it is scrutinized and upheld during the current session. He reminded that in case the campaign is shortened it would start on the 19th of October.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada announced that he is eager to uphold all the propositions concerning the agenda if Parliament is working.
