The Speaker of the Parliament emphasized that from the first days of the war, Poland sheltered millions of Ukrainians fleeing from russian missiles and shelling:
"Our citizens have received rights on a par with Poles, in particular, the opportunity to get a job, receive free medical care and social benefits."
"For many Ukrainians, Poland has become a second home. And today we took the first step to thank our good neighbors," he noted.
Ruslan Stefanchuk noted that this bill enables those Poles who want to come to Ukraine to enjoy all the rights and freedoms on an equal basis with Ukrainians: to work, conduct business, get an education, receive social benefits and medical care.
"We appreciate true friends of Ukraine!" - emphasized the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
