The First Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, O. Lavrynovych has met V. V. Loskutkov, Charge D'affaires ad Interim of Russian Federation in Ukraine
The parties defined prior for today paths of development of bilateral Ukrainian-Russian relations, stressed the importance of the further its strengthening on the basis of mutual interest and emphasized the bilateral interest in the development of Parliamentary part in cooperation between two countries.
O. Lavrynovych and V. V. Loskutkov came to the conclusion concerning the intensification of the work o Interparliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Russian Federation Council. "We have propositions form the working groups, regional project pipelines that should be implemented in life, one should not stopped on the reached result", - O. Lavrynovych mentioned.
Concerning the problems of bilateral strategic partnership, representatives of both countries ascertained the necessity of the further action of "Great Treaty".
O. Lavrynovych stressed on the necessity of the action coordination and mutual interest concerning the whole scope of relations.
In his turn the Russian diplomat gave to understand that Russian Federation had always been adherent of expected bilateral relations between Ukraine and Russia.
The Parties touched upon the issue concerning the meeting in autumn of the current year of Chairmen of Foreign Policy Departments in the framework of the Ukrainian-Russian Inter-State Committee on the level of the state leaders concerning the scrutiny of the issues on cooperation of frontier zones.
Moreover, V. Loskutkov has informed O. Lavrynovych that the visit of the Chairman of the Federation Council, Sergey Mironov to Ukraine is planned on the next week. In the course of the visit the meetings with the leaders of the state are presupposed.
The Russian diplomat has also informed on the planed visit in the end of July of the Holy Father of Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kyryl. O. Lavrynovych assured that "for Ukraine it would be highly important visit".
Stressing the effectiveness of the conversation between O. Lavrynovych and V. Loskutkov stated that this meeting testified the necessity of the further dialogue between two countries.
