The Bill (Reg.№31060) envisages the determining the aim and the principles, priorities, tasks and mechanisms of the state ethnical policy implementation in Ukraine.
Members of the Committee deem that a lot of principles repeat the basic Law "On National Minorities in Ukraine" and other legislative-legal acts that regulate international relations.
The Main Scientific-Expert Administration derives to the drawbacks of the Bill absence of the modern state of ethnical development in Ukraine and sticking to the effective law on international relations and ethno-national policy.
A great number of the essential principles were not represented in the Bill. In particular, concerning the provision of the state guarantees of the preserving of the living environment of national minorities in places of their compact inhabiting, tasks and functions of the local self-governing bodies concerning the issue etc.
