Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk joined the online conference dedicated to the centenary of diplomatic relations between the USA and Lithuania.

Both countries are our friends - said the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament - we are connected to Lithuania by the presence of a crazy neighbor. «For some reason, russia has decided that it can openly ignore international rules. The world should obey the will of the russian federation, but it will not be like that.» Ruslan Stefanchuk noted.

In his persuasion, the aggressor calculated that the weak would be frightened and accept the rules of the Russian federation.

«I will say: there are no weak people in democracy, we are all strong. Whether it is Lithuania, Ukraine, or the USA. We all believe in freedom and independence, in the right of everyone to choose, and in human life as the highest value.» The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed.

«Our strength is in our solidarity and unity. And we will rebuild Ukraine not as part of the "Soviet" empire, but as a free country of the European Union.” Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasized.
