"We should work upon the fact that either to determine for ourselves whether we want to live in the parliamentary republic or the president´s one", - the First Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared in the air of the First Business TV Channel, commenting upon the polemics in the society concerning the necessity of determining of the government forms in Ukraine.
His point of view the politician explained by the fact that this "cocktail" of the governmental forms we have in our country is "extremely unfavorable for the development of Ukraine".
O. Lavrynovych stressed that "cocktail" forms of government are totally unacceptable for the long-termed and effective work". That is why, according to the First Vice-Chairman "they appear in the world for short period because of the political compromises that are necessary".
