The Ukrainian delegation met with the President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Gerry Connolly

During the spring session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly-2022 in Vilnius (Lithuania), a delegation of Ukrainian parliamentarians met with the President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Gerry Connolly. 

During the meeting, Oleksandr Kornienko, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Co-Chair of the NATO-Ukraine Inter-Parliamentary Council (UNIC), stressed the importance of the Assembly's support for Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. 

"You say that Russia's war against Ukraine must meet with the constant and unwavering support of Ukraine. That Ukrainians are heroically resisting. We say in response that we will fight no matter what and until the victory. Because we know its price - our life and freedom, world security and the opportunity to stop Russia's aggression against Ukraine and the world! " - summed up the meeting on his official Facebook page Alexander Kornienko. 


He thanked the President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly for his support and faith in Ukraine's victory.

 

The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to the NATO PA Yegor Chernev, the Deputy Head of the Permanent Delegation to the NATO PA Solomiya Bobrovska and a member of the delegation Halyna Mykhailyuk.
