Members of the Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement held a working meeting with the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the veterans of the internal affairs bodies who governed the department in the past.

 

The participants of the meeting discussed the activity of the internal affairs bodies and the issues concerning their reforming.

 

The participants devoted special attention to the importance of the internal affairs bodies in the provision of public order and safety in the country. 

 

The attendants of the meeting drew attention to the professionalism and efficient actions in the period, when the system of internal affairs bodies was formed in the time of development of Ukraine as an independent State.

 

The People´s Deputies informed the guests about the law-making activity of the Committee, which aims at the enhancement of activity of the law-enforcement bodies. 

 

A book "Ministry kolyshnimy ne buvayut" ("Ministers can not be Ex-") by Volodymyr Cherednichenko was presented at the meeting.
