The year 2021 was generous with significant events. Together we celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of our independence. We are reaching the finals this year with a victory bundle. And it's not just words.

Becoming the Speaker of Parliament, I made it a good habit to report on our activities. Report less than a few hours before the New Year. I talked about the achievements of the Parliament after almost every plenary session.

In recent months, we have adopted laws for the first time, some of which have been waiting for their stellar time for more than 20 years. These are laws on localization, industrial parks, the fight against the oligarchs, administrative procedure, mediation, chaplains and others.

In making important decisions for the people, we thanked every Ukrainian for their work. Doctors, military, scientists, educators, farmers, entrepreneurs, chaplains, programmers, mediators and everyone else who works for the benefit of Ukraine.

I want to put the most desirable thing for our grandmother-Ukraine under the Christmas tree. This is a life without war, a smile without a mask, a path to the EU without obstacles.

I want to put the most desirable thing for our motherland-Ukraine under the Christmas tree. This is a life without war, a smile without a mask, a path to the EU without obstacles.

I sincerely believe that 2022 will be a better year and together we will be able to overcome any new challenges. After all, there are 65 million of us Ukrainians. We are sewn together by language, history, customs and traditions. We have Ukraine in our hearts and only together we are a force. I believe in our victory.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
