Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Elimination of Consequences of Chornobyl Disaster together with the Program on Patronage of the Parliament of Ukraine has held the Parliamentary Youth Hearings on "The Global Changes in the Climate of Ukraine: Threats to Ukraine and the Ways of their Minimization "

Councils of Ukraine, Ministries on Environmental Policy, National Agency on Ecologic Investments, profile juridical companies and business structures, public organizations.

The People´s Deputies A. Tolstoukhov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Denmark to Ukraine Mr. Uffe Andersson Balslev have greeted the participants of the hearings.

The reports of the participants were presented according to three blocks: analysis of the implementation by Ukraine of the Framework Convention of UNO on climate change and Kyoto Protocol; discussion of the bills of the laws, subordinate acts; sources of the investments into the nature protecting projects and mechanisms of the implementation of the modern ecologically safe technologies for the modernization of the economics; participation of the youth in the implementation of the supervising function of the Parliament of Ukraine; attraction of the young people into the informational campaign convention on the treats and possibilities of the global climate changes prevention.

After each subject block the share of information and answer-questions and mini-discussions were held. As a result of the discussion the motions to the Hearings Resolution were formed.
