Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, declares the willingness of the Parliament to secure adequate funding of objects within the scope of preparation for EURO-2012 Football Championship at the legislative level.
"As far as the adequate funding of the EURO-2012 objects is concerned, The Verkhovna Rada will do everything possible on its part", - stated V.Lytvyn in the interview to the journalists in Kharkiv, where he stays with a one-day working visit.
V.Lytvyn deems necessary to allocate 1,5 billion UAH to finish the construction of the stadium and airport in Kharkiv. He believes it should be done till 30 November 2009, the date when participation of four Ukrainian cities in the Championship will be finally settled.
Visiting "Metalist" stadium, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stated that the reconstruction secured "a complex entrance", "there will be no problems with the safety of people, their arrival, placement and evacuation".
