Ruslan Stefanchuk spoke about the priority bills of this plenary week

The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, spoke about the priority bills of this plenary week during the Conciliation Council of the Deputy Factions (Deputy Groups).

According to him, in the near future the Parliament of Ukraine has the opportunity to adopt the bill “On the state budget of Ukraine for 2022.”

“The Cabinet of Ministers is completing work on the bill ‘On the state budget of Ukraine for 2022’. Therefore, I ask the Budget Committee, as soon as the draft State Budget finalized by the Government is submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, it shall be promptly and immediately considered for consideration of the budget conclusions of the Verkhovna Rada, prepare, and submit it for consideration at the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine,” said Ruslan Stefanchuk.  

The Speaker of the Parliament reminded that the People's Deputies must also approve the Budget of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for 2022. In addition, on December 1, the President of Ukraine will give the Annual Address to the Verkhovna Rada on the Internal and External Situation of Ukraine.

“I would also like to inform you that this week the first inaugural meeting of the Working Group on preparation of comprehensive legislative proposals on Amendments to the laws of Ukraine in the field of parliamentary law is scheduled under the chairmanship of First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kornienko. I ask representatives of all factions and groups to actively participate,” Ruslan Stefanchuk urged.

The Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine also added that work is underway on the establishment of the Scientific Advisory Board under the Parliament of Ukraine and the preparation of the Legislative work plan for 2022.
