Corruption should be equated to the High Treason V. Lytvyn
V. Lytvyn explained the necessity of the adoption of the number of the corruption fighting laws by the fact that "today the corruption forms the system of power, mechanism of its functioning and become its inevitable part".
"If the measures on elimination of this cancer then state might possibly lose the grounds to exist in a firm of the country but would be under lease of the corresponding clans and groups. One should fights against it, - he declared. These resolutions were adopted under the pressure of European community that insisted on adoption of it by Ukraine".
Adoption of these legislative acts, V. Lytvyn added, "is dictated by the necessity of changes in the system of power, system of reorganization of the country management".
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also announced that on Monday on of the antirecessionary laws was returned to the Parliament with the motions of the President of Ukraine. "One should thoroughly investigate the motions and be determined concerning the destiny of the law. People should be alarmed in order to provide the clearness of the functioning of the state institutions", - V. Lytvyn declared.
V. Lytvyn expressed for the strengthening of the control for the activity of the state officials who "spend enormous amounts of money in gambling houses".
"Nothing would have changed if the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine had not implemented radical steps regarding the gambling business. The simple prohibition would only lead to the new clandestine gambling houses", - V. Lytvyn declared.
"This business should be diverted into the normal civilized direction", - he summed up.
