Mykola Tomenko: To reach the Semifinal of the World Contest, "Askania-Nova" Nature Reserve must climb Three Steps (from 14 to 11 Position)
"Askania-Nova" nature reserve that represents Ukraine at the world contest "New seven wonders of nature" climbed from 14 to 39 position in the Internet-voting for the nominees in this group.
M.Tomenko, head of the organizational committee of the project "Let´s show natural wonders of Ukraine to the world", called on everyone "to liven up in the last month of voting and win the right of the Ukrainian wonder to reach the semifinal of the world contest´.
The world contest "New seven wonders of nature" is a modern attempt to create the list of seven most wonderful natural places organized by a Swiss non-profitable organization "New Open World Corporation".
On 21 July 2009, the experts will name 21 finalists of the contest. The final Internet-voting will last during 2010-2011. New seven wonders of nature will be proclaimed in 2011.
