The Bill (Reg.№2489) envisages the amendments to the Laws "On Authorized Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Human Rights", "On Protection of Childhood", with the implementation of the new post of the Representative on Child Rights.
Representative on Child Rights can not be nominated a person that has record of previous convictions if it is not expunged according to the norms implemented by the law and the person deprived of the parental rights.
It was declared during the meeting that the implementation of the post would lead to the decrease of the negative influence of the factors that today accompany the development of a child.
The Committee deems the adoption of the bill facilitates the fuller guarantee of the children rights.
