At the plenary meetings on 4 June 2009, The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine scrutinized 34 issues of the agenda.
Due to the results of the scrutiny:
- 13 Laws and 6 Resolutions were adopted;
- 5 Bills and 1 Draft Resolution were adopted as a basis;
- 1 Bill was forwarded to the repeated first reading;
- 1 Bill was returned to the Committee for further drafting before the second reading;
- 1 Bill was adopted at the second reading and forwarded to the third reading;
- 2 Bills were rejected.
Due to the results of the scrutiny of the President´s proposals:
- the President´s veto imposed on 1 Law was overridden;
- 1 Law was rejected (the President´s veto not overridden).
