The Committee members scrutinized the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Safety and Quality of Foodstuffs" (Reg. No.4437), especially Article 2 concerning exclusion of the notification about GMO, and Article 38 concerning extension of requirements to the labeling of foodstuffs.
The Committee members also scrutinized the Bill on Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine (re Protection of Citizens´ Labour Rights) (Reg. No.4396).
By the subject of legal regulation, the Bill belongs to the branch of labour protection and is regulated by the documents of the Council of Europe, namely, the European Social Charter (revised) and the Convention for Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Liberties.
