Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, "We appreciate Switzerland's support and are interested in deepening bilateral relations"

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov met with President of the National Council of the Federal Assembly of the Swiss Confederation Andreas Aebi.
"Our countries have a lot in common. We can deepen the intensive nature of the dialogue that exists today between Ukraine and Switzerland at the level of the Parliaments, Presidents and Governments of our states," Dmytro Razumkov said.

He noted that Ukraine appreciates Switzerland's principled position on the situation in the temporarily occupied Crimea and on the war in the East of Ukraine.
Dmitry Razumkov thanked Switzerland for providing humanitarian assistance on the front lines.
At the same time, he stressed that economic cooperation with European countries, in particular Switzerland, is important for Ukraine, the investors of which are among the leaders in terms of investments in Ukraine.
"Today, the Ukrainian Parliament is working to improve the legislation to attract investment, to create conditions for Ukrainian and foreign investors," said the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada.
He also noted that the group on Inter-Parliamentary relations of the National Council of the Swiss Federal Assembly with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will be renewed soon. Dmytro Razumkov expressed hope that the potential of friendship groups to deepen inter-parliamentary dialogue would be fully used.
"It is a great honor for us to receive guests like you in this significant year. We celebrated 25 years since the adoption of the Constitution, today we celebrate the National Flag Day. Today we have also an important event - the Crimea Platform Summit. I am grateful that you are joining it," the Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine said.
