During the meeting with Chairperson of the Accounting Chamber of the Republic of Moldova Marian Lupu, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov discussed the prospects of cooperation between the highest audit bodies of the two countries.
The Chairperson of the Accounting Chamber of Moldova outlined possible prospects for cooperation of the highest audit bodies on international platforms.At the same time, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stated: "We will continue to support cooperation and are ready to join this process and do what depends on the Parliament."
In addition, he noted that at the beginning of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX Convocation, for the first time in history, the audit of the Ukrainian Parliament was conducted.
Dmytro Razumkov also informed that the Verkhovna Rada adopted the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine to Ensure Effective Implementation of Parliamentary Control", and added that the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine plays an important role in exercising such control.
At the same time, the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada expressed confidence in the further deepening of relations between Ukraine and Moldova. "Thank you for the attitude we see from the Republic of Moldova both in support of the Crimea Platform and in the relations that are currently being built," said the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada.
