Mykola Tomenko: "Kachianivka" Nature Reserve should become a Place of Ukrainian Elite Communication

M Tomenko, the Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the 6th of June 2009 during his working visit to Chernigiv Region on the day before the important Trinity Sunday and exactly on the Day of the Journalist took part in the foundation of the first stones on the central alley in the State History-Cultural reserve "Kachanivka" and has greeted the journalists with their professional holiday.

 

 

 

 

 

 Three years ago, M. Tomenko was the initiator of the restoration works in this reserve. It was formed in year 1981 on the basis of the palace ensemble of the park of the manorial estate founded in 1770 years. "Kachianivka" was not only the popular place for the carouse or holidays celebration, it was place of the creative meetings, - he stressed. My wish is to change it from the provincial museum on the national reserve, the place of communication of Ukrainian elite, tourist Mecca".

 

 

 

According to him, during last years then the state feels not so confident, "the common support of business, politicians is needed in order to recreate the place of creative communication and in order o attract the visitors".
