The Bill (Reg. No.3300) introduces amendments to the Family Code that specify the conditions, when siblings, orphans or children deprived of parental care, can be separated by adoption.
The Bill also envisages the cases when adoption can take place if the age of adopters exceeds the age limit established, and specifies the situations, when one spouse can not adopt a child by consent of the other spouse.
The Committee members believe that adoption of the Bill will protect the right of siblings to be adopted by one family, and eliminate age limits if a child is adopted by a relative.
