For the first time, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine organized and held celebrations on the occasion of the Day of the Constitution of Ukraine in a new open European format with the broad involvement of citizens. This was stated during the Conciliation Council of the Parliamentary Factions and Groups by Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratyuk, who was responsible for organizing the creative part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine.
The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament thanked all Ukrainians who responded to the appeal and came to the Verkhovna Rada to celebrate the anniversary of the Constitution together. "I would like to sincerely thank the members of the working group of the Parliament, our international partners and the whole team that was involved in making this holiday happen," said Olena Kondratiuk.
According to the Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, this is just the beginning of the new Open Rada project.
In particular, a new branding strategy of the Parliament will be presented soon. Active work is also underway towards parliamentary education among children and youth. In particular, online courses were developed for students on the activities and functions of the Verkhovna Rada.
"I hope that we will adopt a comprehensive program of parliamentary education, complete the renovation of the press center and create a full-fledged information and research service of the Verkhovna Rada. We will continue to make the Parliament inclusive," the Vice Speaker added.
