The participants of the Conciliative Council held under the chairmanship of Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, during the recess in the plenary meeting, discussed a number of issues concerning organization of further Parliament´s work.

Thus, it was resolved to postpone the scrutiny of the Bill on Amendments to the constitution of Ukraine brought forward by the President of Ukraine for the next plenary week.

The participants of the Conciliative Council also resolved to postpone scrutiny of personnel matters raised by the People´s Deputies and Parliamentary Factions.

A similar decision was carried out in relation to the oath-taking of the members of the High Council of Justice, as the leaders of Parliamentary Factions deemed necessary to hold extra consultations beforehand in order to coordinate their positions.

The participants of the Conciliative Council also scrutinized the issue concerning the Bill on purchase of goods, works and services at the expense of the governmental funds.

The attendants of the Council also discussed the situation at the private coal-mining enterprises that are devoid of a possibility to sell the coal extracted. The attendants did not uphold the suggestion to listen to the report of the Minister of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine on the said issue.  They, however, deem reasonable to hold a round table discussion at the Parliament with the participation of the People´s Deputies, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and experts of the coal-mining and power engineering sectors.
