The Committee on Finance and Banking recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Banks and Banking Activity" (re the Protection of Rights of Depositors during the Temporary Administrations acting in Banks)

During the meeting it was stressed that the Bill (Reg.№4360) envisages the removal of the ambiguities of the effective law and normative-legal acts of the National Bank of Ukraine during the temporary administration in Banks in the part of the free access of the depositors to their savings. The suggested amendments would lead in perspective to the decrease of the money percentage from the deposits in the commercial banks.
