The Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Organization and Holding of the Final Part of the European Football Championship 2012 in Ukraine" at the Second Reading and in its Entirety

The Bill (Reg. No.4397) clearly defines the list of objects to be attracted to the holding of the Championship, specifies the authorities and tasks of the Cabinet of Ministers, defines the functions of the central and local executive and self-government bodies regarding ratification and implementation of tasks of relevant branch, regional and local programs on the preparation and holding of the Championship, General Infrastructure Plan, etc.

 

The Committee scrutinized the suggestions of the Football Federation of Ukraine concerning requirements of the UEFA and realization of guarantees given by the Ukrainian government to the UEFA.
