The Committee members stated that practical use of a Single Wage Rates Distribution had actually substituted the mechanism of labour remuneration of scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical workers envisaged by effective legislation with a manual control.
The Committee members stressed that introduction of additional payments to the official salary caused actual reduction in wages of scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical workers instead of the increase of salary.
The Committee resolved to address Yu.Tymoshenko, Prime Minister of Ukraine, concerning the necessity of introducing amendments to the Law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2009" in the part of fixing the rates of official salary of a first-wage-grade worker at the level of a minimum wage.
