The issue concerns 57 ha of land allocated to the university by Kyiv municipal council for permanent use, which was illegally transferred by the leaders of this education establishment to the private institutions. Thus, it concerns the private enterprises "Stolytsia", "Promzhytlobud", "T.M.M.", "Pobutrembud" and "Internaftohazbud" that concluded investment agreements with the university with grave violations and launched illegal construction works at the leased plots.
According to the People´s Deputies, an appeal was forwarded to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine with a request to take immediate measures to suspend violations. Relevant materials were also forwarded to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and Kyiv mayor. The Committee monitored the settlement of the issue, which is proved by five more appeals to the Prosecutor General.
The Committee members passed a resolution "to draw attention of the officials of the Prosecution General to the passivity, non-fulfillment of the Committee´s resolution of 15 October 2008 and absence of its representative at the Committee´s meeting, and institute disciplinary proceedings against the officials at fault".
