Mykola Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, considers resolution of the UEFA Executive Committee to exclude Dnipropetrovsk from the list of cities-hosts of "EURO-2012" football championship as "a great surprise".
The Vice-Chairman also expressed his hopes that it would be possible to reduce the cost of construction of "Olimpiysky" national sports complex after the report of the Temporary Inquiry Panel of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine set up to verify observance of legislation by the reconstruction of "Olimpiysky" national sports complex".
Appraising Ukraine´s preparation to the European Football Championship 2012, M.Tomenko stated that everything happening within the scope of preparation looked like "an incomprehensible, sometimes shadow, system of adopting resolutions".
"At present, we need a transparent system of state administration in the matter of "EURO-2012", - stressed the Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
