Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine definitely supports the Revocation of the Immunity of Deputies even till the end of the Current Year
On Friday, within the course of the working visit in Sumy Region, Volodymyr Lytvyn, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed conviction that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine would approve the revocation of the immunity of the deputies. "I am totally for its revocation", - he stressed.
According to him, the immunity of the deputies might have been annulled "even before these elections". The Chairman joked that the lections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "would be like to the army".
V. Lytvyn reminded that except the Deputies, the special status possess approximately 7 thousand people. V. Lytvyn deems that for the adoption of this resolution should vote not 226 People´s Deputies but at least 300 for the introduction of the amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine.
