Speaker of the Parliament: If Ministers will be dismissed, the vacancies must be filled immediately

If Ministers will be dismissed, the vacancies must be filled immediately. This was stated by Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov.
In his opinion, if the Ministers in respect of whom the Verkhovna Rada will consider the issue of resignation on Tuesday are fired, it will not be possible to delay the appointment of a new heads of ministries. The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada considers it unacceptable when the Ministry is headed by acting Ministers for a long time.
"According to the Constitution, the Head of the Ministry must be appointed by the Parliament on the proposal of the coalition of deputy factions or, in this case, by the mono-majority," Dmytro Razumkov stressed.
He noted that on Tuesday the Verkhovna Rada will consider the resignation of the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture, the Minister of Infrastructure and the Minister of Health.
Dmytro Razumkov also noted that if the Parliament approves the resignation of three ministers, the appointment of a new heads of Ministries may take place this week. "It is definitely not worth delaying this process. However, let's still wait for the vote," the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said.
