Discussing financial regulation and proper administration, Oleh Bilorus, Head of the Standing Delegation of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the OSCE PA, stated that the present-day crisis "was of a global nature with the potential capacity to transform into a long-lasting crisis of global financial-economic system". He believes that "parliament members should understand that current situation requires urgent measures".
O.Bilorus called on the member-countries to reduce the deficit of the national budget, curtail unlimited emission of money and securities. He upheld the idea of State participation in the banks capitals, especially, by means of recapitalization or nationalization of banks under the international supervision.
O.Bilorus called on the participants of the discussion to demonstrate "global social solidarity", which secures overcoming of the crisis and restoration of stable economic growth.
