The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopts as a Basis the Bill of the Law on Amendments to Criminal executive Code of Ukraine concerning the Protection of the Rights of the Convicted People in the Estates of Punishment Execution

The Bill (Reg.№2151) is introduced by the People´s Deputies V. Shvets, V. Sivkovych, V. Stretovych. Envisages the prohibition on the discriminated of convicted for the ethnic grouping, skin colour, language, religious, political convictions etc.

The Authors also recommends that the authorities of the public control should be broadened.

The Bill envisages the Amendments to the Criminal-Executive Code of Ukraine concerning the punishment that are not connected with the freedom deprivation,; broadening of the circle of people convicted to the freedom restriction, moving within the territory of correction center.

The amendments also concern the women in the beats of strengthened control, "changing of the term "convicted juvenile" into "convicted who serve sentence in correction colonies.

"Members of the committee deem that the adoption of the Law would from the sufficient legislative support for the humanization of the sentence serving estates in Ukraine, developing of democratic legal country, increase in the human rights protection etc.
