It is declared in the resolution that the participants of the Parliamentary hearings poi not the attention of the Cabinet of Ministers on the lack of the systemic activity of the centralized bodies of the executive power in the formation of the social and economic, organizational conditions and guarantees in the sphere of social protection of the population suffered of the Chernobyl disaster, renewal and development of the radioactive polluted territories.
On of the main task according to the participants of the hearings is the melioration of the pension provision of the disabled and participants of the liquidation of the consequences of the disaster on Chornobyl NPP. In Particular, the mechanism of the pension assignment pursuant to the Law "On Status and Social Protection of the Citizen suffered of the Chornobyl Disaster" needs immediate improvement.
It was recommended that the Cabinet of Ministers should form the Coordination Council on Complex solution of all problems concerning the Chornobyl disaster.
The measures should also be taken concerning the implementation of all the laws of Ukraine "On State Program on Overcoming of the consequences of the Chornobyl Disaster and Transformation of the fourth power-generating unit of NPP into the ecologically safe system". The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine should be informed on the results until the 15th of October 2009.
