President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda will pay a visit to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine this Thursday. This was announced by Chairperson of the Ukrainian Parliament Dmytro Razumkov during the Conciliation Council.
"Mr. Gitanas Nauseda, President of the Republic of Lithuania, will be in Ukraine on Thursday. There was an appeal to the Verkhovna Rada with a proposal to allow him to make a speech in the Parliament, such an initiative is supported. I think we will be able to organize this process, " Dmytro Razumkov said.
The Speaker also added that Lithuania is the permanent partner of Ukraine both within the framework of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and within the Baltic Plus format, as well as many other international platforms. "This is the reliable partner with whom we are going through the challenges facing Ukraine, Europe and the world today, because we have a lot in common in history, and I am sure in the future," said Dmytro Razumkov.
