The Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sport and Tourism recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis and in its Entirety the Bill of the Law on Amendments to the Law "On Improvement of Health and Recreation of Children"

It was mentioned during the meeting of the Committee that the Bill (Reg.№4342 (elaborated) in particular envisages the possibility of the financing pf recreation and health improvement of children that need special social care and the support of those who need special conditions for the health improvement at the expense of state, local budgets, funds of organizations, enterprises and trade unions etc.

P. Kostenko, the Chairman of the Committee mentioned that the Law "On Recreation and Health Improvement of Children" came into force from the 1st of January 2009 numerous appellations of executive power bodies and local self-governing bodies are directed to the Verkhovna Rada concerning the solving of the financing of health improvement for children. Still there are not enough funds for the financing of the sphere in the State Budget. The bigger amount of funds is presupposed in local budgets.

The adoption of the Bill according to the People´s Deputies gives the opportunity to finance the health improvement of the children with special needs for health improvement.
