The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada is convinced that Ukraine will regain control over all sections of the state border

Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov is convinced that Ukraine will regain control over all sections of the state border. He stated this during the visit to the Bohdan Khmelnytsky National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine as a part of the working trip to the Khmelnytsky region.

"Yes, part of our border is not under your control. But I am sure that in some time Ukrainian border guards will stand on the Ukrainian border, as provided by the Constitution," he said.

The Speaker of the Parliament noted that the graduates of the National Academy were among the first to defend the territorial integrity of Ukraine in 2014, five were posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.

"I am sure that your Academy occupies a serious place in the security and defense of our state. The specialists you train have chosen not even a profession, but a vocation to which they give a part of themselves, sacrifice their families, health and life for the benefit of our state," Dmytro Razumkov emphasized. The Speaker of the Parliament got acquainted with the work of the educational institution and presented the awards of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the representatives of the National Academy.
