Dmytro Razumkov visited the Khmelnytskyi Military Hospital

During his visit to the Khmelnytskyi region, Chairmperson of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmytro Razumkov, visited the Khmelnytskyi Military Hospital, where he talked to medical workers and soldiers undergoing treatment.

Dmytro Razumkov inquired about the peculiarities of the work of the medical institution in the conditions of the Coronavirus pandemic, in particular, the work of the infectious diseases department of the military hospital. The medical institution reported that there are currently 12 patients in the infectious diseases department, and the total number of employees who have already become ill with COVID-19 is about one third. In addition, 10 people were vaccinated during the morning.

The Speaker of the Parliament noted that the renovation of the material and technical base of the hospital continues, new equipment is being installed. "Something is done at the expense of the state, something - at the expense of volunteers," he said, adding that solving the problematic issues that the Khmelnytskyi military hospital has is possible only by combining the efforts of central and local authorities.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada got acquainted with the work of the hospital departments and laid flowers at the memorial to the soldiers who gave their lives for the independence of Ukraine.
