The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine signed the Law on Assistance to the Unemployed for the Other Quarantines Period

Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov signed the Law of Ukraine “On Amending Article 47-1 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Employment of the Population’ to Provide Partial Unemployment Aid for the Period of the Quarantine Imposed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for Preventing the Spread of Particularly Dangerous Infectious Diseases.”
 
The document provides for the provision of partial unemployment aid for the period of quarantine caused not only by coronavirus infection, but also in the case of similar restrictions due to other diseases in the future.
 
The law gives the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine the right to determine the procedure for providing partial unemployment aid for the period of quarantine, emergency, its size, term of provision, as well as the procedure for refunding funds intended for financing such assistance.
