The Parliament must show its responsibility to the people and consider and adopt bills to support small and medium-sized businesses this week. Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratiuk stressed this during the Conciliation Council of parliamentary factions and groups.
“We need to give a clear signal to entrepreneurs who have not yet received adequate support, and already this week to consider and adopt the relevant bills. Ukrainians who have their own business must receive tax holidays, childcare payments, and write-off of tax debt before the introduction of a new lockdown. Each of them must receive funds in advance. In total, it is proposed to allocate UAH 12 billion to support business,” emphasized Olena Kondratiuk.
According to her, the issue of registrars of settlement operations, which needs to be resolved within the Verkhovna Rada, is still very acute for small businesses and individual entrepreneurs.
“The introduction of registrars of settlement operations should be at least delayed. It is also necessary to finally abolish the ‘cashback’ system, which is significantly unnecessary in the Ukrainian realities, and which significantly complicates the lives of entrepreneurs,” noted the Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
