Representatives of MHP informed that according to the current data of Mexico State Bodies beginning from the 18th if March 2009 the cases of influenza illness were observed, the quantity of infected people is increasing.
Moreover, it was stressed that the World Organization on Health Protection announced the flu outburst in Northern America as "a danger for the health on international level".
Tetiana Bakhteeva, the Chairperson of the Committee stressed that the Government of Ukraine should take urgent measures concerning the counteraction to the situation as is announced on the international level as the event of extra character.
MHP charged the Council of Ministers of Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Kyiv and Sevastopol State Administrations with the complex of actions against the infection.
The suggested bodies are also charged with the being able to share the current data.
Medical- prophylactic institutions should be prepared for the recognition of the illness on the initial stage. Virusological monitoring of circulation of viruses through the country should be provided. The strengthen post epidemic regime and disinfection measures should be implemented etc.
On the territories of airports, railway stations, sea and river ports the building and rooms would be spared for the temporary isolation of infected people.
The sanitary-educational work is held among the population in for the provision of individual protection and prophylactics.
