During the recess in the Parliament´s meeting on Tuesday, the Conciliative Council was held under the chairmanship of Volodymyr Lytvyn, Speaker of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, to discuss further organization of activity of the legislative body.

The leaders of the Factions unanimously agreed to hold consultations concerning the Bills that were submitted for scrutiny by the President of Ukraine, but failed to win a necessary number of votes of the People´s Deputies to be included into the agenda. The participants of the Council reached an agreement that the Parliament would consider including the said Bills into the agenda on Thursday, 16 April, provided the Head of State forwarded a relevant request to The Verkhovna Rada.
