Mykola Tomenko: Formation of a New Coalition is one of the Possible Further Developments in Ukraine
"Notwithstanding rather an inefficient parliamentary session week, formation of a new coalition is one of the possible further developments in Ukraine", - stated M.Tomenko in the interview to the program "Fakty tyzhnia" at the ICTV channel.
"The threat of the financial and economic crisis, destabilization in the country, and the peril of territorial integrity, as the result, constitute possible preconditions of forming a new coalition at the Parliament", - he stated.
The Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine named two possible variants of a new coalition, i.e. consolidation of four political forces (the BYuT, Our Ukraine-People´s Self-Defence, the Lytvyn Bloc and the Party of Regions) or a two-faction coalition (the Party of Regions and the BYuT).
"However, the coalition of two political forces (the Party of Regions and the BYuT) will be more vulnerable and less efficient. I support the coalition of the four, and object to the coalition with two participants", - stated M.Tomenko.
