During an official visit to the Republic of Lithuania, Dmytro Razumkov, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, met with Prime Minister of Lithuania Saulius Skvernelis.

A number of important issues were discussed, in particular, regarding Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration. According to Dmytro Razumkov, both areas remain the priorities of foreign and security policy of our state. He also stressed that Ukraine is ready to implement the reforms needed for European integration.

“We are grateful for Lithuania's decision to host the Fourth International Conference on Reforms in Ukraine. Given the negative impact of the pandemic, economic recovery should become a top priority of the Conference,” said Dmytro Razumkov.

During the meeting, the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine drew attention to the prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment opportunities of the states. “It is important that Lithuanian companies are interested in investing in the Ukrainian economy. Many of these companies are already active in our market, which indicates that there are significant prospects for the development of bilateral economic cooperation between our countries And Ukraine is always ready to expand cooperation,” the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine noted.

Dmytro Razumkov also thanked Mr. Saulius Skvernelis for Lithuania's active assistance in the treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainian servicemen affected by the fighting in eastern Ukraine, as well as in rebuilding the destroyed infrastructure in the region.
