Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, casts doubt on possible introduction of open electoral lists in Ukraine.
Volodymyr Lytvyn made the above-mentioned statement on Tuesday, meeting the residents of Hadiach (Poltava region).
Volodymyr Lytvyn stressed that elections should be held under a mixed-type or majority election system, so that people would know who they elected.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also called for elimination of the State administrations of regional and district level.
